A computer station is on site and WiFi is free in public spaces. You can enjoy a drink at one of the bars, which include a bar/lounge and a poolside bar. There are 3 restaurants on site, along with a coffee shop/café. At Tween Waters Island Resort & Spa, pamper yourself with a treatment at the full-service spa or have fun in the sun with activities like sailing and kayaking. Walk outside to smell the salt air and watch the ocean waves from the resort's beach. Posted by Liz, from Kansas City on Jul 8, 2018 Overall if I had to do it over again I would have stayed at Seaside Inn again where we had free internet, free chairs, no daily resort fees & views of the ocean from all rooms! I will not recommend this resort to my friends and will not stay here again. Our final bill with resort fees & beach chairs was over $200 on top of the nightly rate to just stay there. There is a $19.95 resort fee per day & they tried to charge me an additional $60 for internet which they did agree to remove. On the high side the beach is beautiful and they had plenty of beach chairs but they come at a cost of $15- $20 per day where other resorts provide chairs & umbrellas for free. It smelled like sewer outside of our building so walking to the beach was not pleasant. There is limited parking due to all the construction vehicles & equipment parked everywhere & lots projects and areas of the parking lot dug up but no one working on them. The balcony was dirty and our room overlooked the pool & it was very loud and noisy. The room was ok but the beds were uncomfortable and the carpets needed cleaning I felt like I had to wash my feet every time I walked on them.

There was an ashtray near the elevator that was full of the same cigarettes & garbage the entire week we were there. The property as a whole is extremely run down and in need of repairs & paint. We were excited to stay here, but were quickly regretting our decision after arriving. Stay ANYWHERE else! Great island, bad resort. She then told me that I would only have to pay the resort fee for our first day, and that we would get a full refund for the 3 other days when our 3rd party booking company contacted them.Ī week later we have no refund. We politely told them of our issues, but the staff at the checkout was very rude and didn't want to hear any of it. We asked if we could have a different room, but none were available so we checked out the next morning. Our front door also didn't fit flush in the frame so you could see light coming through and you really had to "hit the sweet spot" to get it to lock, but it didn't seem really secure. We were going to just deal with it, but we kept stepping on a sharp tack under the old carpet where it met the tile so we had to wear sandals in the hotel room. So we got more new sheets which were also too small to fit on the bed. The front desk staff that night was very polite and gave us new sheets.but those were the wrong size. It was very dated and our bedding was really gross. It looked nothing like the pictures online. We checked in on a Wednesday night, had some food then got to our room. The room was terrible! If you like blood stained pillows, black curly hairs all over your sheets & mattress cover, an unsecured front door that doesn't shut/lock properly, tacks that poke your feet where the old carpet meets the tile, broken light fixtures, and pee stains on carpet.then this place is for you!
